Biography

2019 (Redshirt Junior)
Sampson was selected to the All-GNAC Second Team putting together a solid year in 2019. Sampson was third on the team in receiving with 348 yards on 21 catches. He finished second on the team in receiving touchdowns with four and averaged 31.64 yards per game. He was also involved on special teams returning nine kickoffs for 202 yards (22.44 average) with a long of 67 yards that he did against Texas A&M-Kingsville to earn GNAC Player of the Week honors. Sampson also took a few carries during the season rushing eight times for 36 yards and a touchdown, with a long carry of 14 yards. He scored a rushing touchdown against Central Washington, which was his only carry of the game. He had at least 50 receiving yards in five games, going for a high of 66 on three catches and a score against Azusa Pacific. Sampson had a receiving touchdown against Azusa Pacific (twice) and Central Washington (twice).


2018 (Redshirt Sophomore)
Appeared in all 11 games... finished season with 11 catches for 155 yards, good for sixth on the team, with two receiving touchdowns, rushing for a third.
