2019 (Freshman)
Smith saw time right away as a true freshman in 2019, playing in eight games. He caught a 17 yard pass for his first collegiate reception against Simon Fraser. Playing at tight end throughout the year, he helped power a rushing attack that went for 2,672 yards and 30 touchdowns.

High School
Smith posted 472 receiving yards and nine touchdowns during his senior season at Stagg High School in Stockton, Calif. On defense, he collected a fumble recovery and helped lead the team to a six-win season.
