Bryan Fisher enters his sixth season at Western Oregon - his second as associate head coach after four seasons as assistant coach.
Fisher came to WOU with current head coach Wes Pifer from Northern Arizona where he spent nearly three years in charge of the basketball operations at NAU that included team travel, visits, scouting opponents, implementing defensive game plans, player development, creating recruiting videos, organization of summer camps, academic supervision, community service projects and day-to-day operations of the program.
Fisher also has additional Division-I experience from his time as a manager at San Diego State. During the almost five years with the Aztecs he was the head manager for three years, assisted all coaches in day-to-day operations, assisted with player development, setup all required equipment for practice, comprehensive schedules of recruits for the coaches, assisted in film breakdown and oversaw 7-8 additional managers.
Fisher spent time as an assistant coach of the Double Pump Basketball AAU team for three years where he was the assistant for both the 17U Elite and 16U Elite teams. He also assisted at the high school level serving as an assistant coach at Simi Valley High School helping in player development and executing plans for players, practice execution and game coaching and adjustments.
Fisher received his Bachelor of Arts degree in science and mathematics from San Diego State and later added a Master of Education in educational leadership from Northern Arizona.
