Tony Salinas

Tony Salinas enters his first season as Graduate Assistant for the men's basketball team, joining first-year head coach Ryan Orton's staff.

Salinas joins the coaching staff after a five-year playing career as a guard with the Wolves, first joining the team under then head coach Wes Pifer for the 2019-2020 season. During his five years as a Wolf, Salinas played in 78 games over four seasons (the 2020-2021 season was canceled due to the COVID-19 Pandemic). He averaged a career shooting percentage of .408, including .366 from the 3-point line (45-for-123), scoring a career-high 13 points against Simon Fraser in 2024-2025 - his senior-season. 

Salinas, a Zillah, Washington native, graduated with a Bachelor's degree from Western Oregon in 2025, and now continues his education as a graduate student, turning over a new leaf in his basketball and academic careers.
