Snook is entering her first year in the collegiate coaching ranks after a successful playing career that included two seasons as the point guard for Western Oregon.
A graduate of Roseburg High School, Snook lettered four years in basketball and two in track & field. She was twice named a First-Team All-Conference selection and twice a Second-Team honoree.
She then began her college career with a two-year stop at Lane Community College. Snook averaged over 18 points each of those seasons and was named NWAC Tournament MVP as a sophomore, helping lead the Titans to a league championship. In 2016, she was named to the All-Southern Region First Team. Snook holds Lane records in scoring, assists, field goals made and free throws made.
Snook then joined the Western Oregon women’s basketball team as a junior for the 2016-17 season. In her first year with the Wolves, she logged the fourth-most minutes in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference and led the team in scoring, averaging 13.6 points per game. She finished 8th in the conference in scoring and 10th in assists (3.4 per game).
In her senior season at WOU, Snook stamped her name in the record books in several categories. With a .875 free throw percentage, she had the second-best mark in the conference that season and the fifth-highest single-season percentage in school history. She also finished her WOU career fifth all-time in three-point field goals made (92), assists per game (3.0), and finished second all-time in minutes per game (32.7).
