AS A JUNIOR (2008-09)
Earned GNAC All-Academic honors…Played in 23 games while making 16 starts…Averaged 8.5 points and 2.7 rebounds…Shot 44-percent from the field…Posted a career-best 10 rebounds in season-opener against Cal Poly…Scored in double-figures nine times…Registered a career-best 21 points on 9-of-17 shooting at Regis…Finished 17th in the GNAC with 1.3 steals per game…Had 14 points in the final three games of the season…Went 11-of-12 from the free throw line against Cal State Monterey Bay.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2007-08)
Played in all 27 games for the Wolves, starting seven…Shot .379 percent from the field (61-of-161) and averaged 5.6 points per game…Scored a season-high 20 points in the season opener against Humboldt State ion 9-of-15 shooting…Scored in double-digits the first three games of the season…Scored in double-digits in five games…Went 3-for-3 from three-point range against Western Washington and Humboldt State…Had a season-high eight rebounds against Montana State Billings (Jan. 31).

PRIOR TO WOU
2006 graduate of Roseburg High School (6A)…Four-year letterman in basketball, two-time letterman for track and once for soccer…First-team All-Southern Oregon Conference as a junior and senior…Third-team all-state pick in 2006…Also nominated for the McDonald’s All-America team the same year…Played basketball for the Master’s College in 2006-07 as a freshman….Averaged 2.4 points a game for the Mustangs, who went 15-13 and advanced to the NAIA national tournament.

Born in Roseburg, Ore. in 1987…Communication major, Business minor…Parents are Alan and Diana....Father is self-employed at Fitness First, Mother is a manager for Pacific Power…Shayla has an older sister, Jessica (26), and a younger brother, Lucas (16)…Father played football at Southern Oregon University.
