2022 Women's Cross Country Roster
Biography
Garcia transfers to Western Oregon for the 2021-22 season after competing at fellow NCAA Division II West Region school Cal Poly Pomona.
On the cross country course, Garcia has put together some strong results already throughout her career. During the 2019-20 season, she was the top finisher on the team in three meets and earned All-West Region honors running on WOU's Ash Creek Preserve in the NCAA West Regional when she came in 13th. Also added a 19th place finish at the CCAA Championships and later ran in the NCAA Championships in Sacramento.
During her first season at CPP, Garcia was one of just three Broncos to run in six meets and the only one to participate in both postseason events. Posted several top-three team finishes throughout the year and ran in both the CCAA Championships (64th) and in the NCAA West Regionals that took place in Billings.
A 2018 graduate of John H. Francis Polytechnic High School, she placed seventh at the 2017 CIF Los Angeles City Section Division I Finals and graduated with honors in the classroom holding above a 3.0 GPA.
