Traci Stephenson

Traci Stephenson joined the Wolves as an assistant volleyball coach in the spring of 2019 after a highly successful run as the head coach at Chemeketa Community College. She enters her third season back with her alma mater for the 2021 season.

Stephenson was the head coach for the Storm for eight seasons and led the team to more than 170 wins and a pair of NWAC South Region championships during her stay.

Stephenson was named the 2017 NWAC Coach of the Year after guiding the team to a NWAC Championship. The 2017 team finished with a 30-4 overall record and a 13-1 mark in conference play.

In addition, her 2015 squad compiled a 37-4 overall record which led to AVCA West Region Coach of the Year recognition.

Prior to her work at Chemeketa, Stephenson was an assistant coach at Willamette University for two seasons.

She and her husband Scott met while attending Western Oregon and now make their home in Salem where they are parents to one son and one daughter. Stephenson graduated from Western Oregon in 2001 with a bachelor's degree in multi/interdisciplinary studies.
