Biography

Kaonis was a four-year letterwinner on the volleyball dynasty at Crook County High School. The Cowgirls have won eight consecutive OSAA Class 4A state titles. CCHS has won 248 matches during that streak since 2006, and has a 119-22 record during Kaonis' four seasons. Crook County also has never dropped a conference match in the past four years.

The 5-10 middle blocker was named Second Team All-State and Intermountain All-Conference First Team while at Crook County. Kaonis also lettered three times on the track and field team. She has competed in the shot put, 400 meters, 200 meters, and high jump events
