All-Great Northwest Athletic Conference All-Academic recipient…Named as an honorable mention on the All-GNAC team…Played in 72 sets and finished the season third on the team with 2.04 kills per game…Was second on the squad with 0.86 blocks per set and a .299 kill percentage…Earned GNAC Player of the Week honors after leading WOU to wins over CWU and WWU as the Wolves clinched the GNAC season title…Posted a season-high 17 kills and eight blocks in match with Central Washington…Registered a block in 18 of 23 matches…Had four matches of double-digit kills.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2006)
Named the Marquis Spas Athlete of the year for volleyball…Earned All-Great Northwest Athletic Conference honorable mention accolades…Part of the All-GNAC All-Academic Team…Posted a kill percentage of .500 against Seattle with 17 kills, to set a career-best, and registered a kill percentage of .444 with 15 kills against Alaska Anchorage…Sakala brick-walled seven opponent attacks in one game versus Central Washington, another season high…Had double-figure kills numbers in six of the final seven matches of the season…Had three service aces against Alaska Anchorage.
AS A FRESHMAN (2005)
Played in 25 of WOU’s 26 matches...Fourth on the Wolves with 1.83 kills per game...Led the team with 10 solo blocks...Also topped the squad with 0.64 total blocks per game...Had a career best 18 kills at Alaska Anchorage on Oct. 1...Also had a .342 attack percentage in that match...Posted double figure kill numbers in three of the final four matches of the season...Had six total blocks, including two solos at Saint Martin’s...Also had six total blocks at Seattle Pacific.

2005 graduate of Beaverton High School… Earned first team All-Metro League honors as a junior and senior…Named to the third team as a sophomore… Two-time MVP for the Beavers…Lettered three years in volleyball...Also played golf.
