Blair Wheadon, a 6-2 junior point guard from Junction City, Ore. (Junction City High School), helped the Wolves split their two-game road trip to Alaska. He scored a team-high 16 points, including hitting three 3-pointers in a 79-59 loss. Wheadon followed that up with a 20-point performance to lead WOU to an 89-85 win at Fairbanks. He connected on 7-of-15 shots from the field and four 3-pointers. Those 20 points moved him into the exclusive GNAC 1,000 point club. Wheadon now stands 42nd in conference history with 1,012 points. He is averaging 19.4 ppg in conference play this season.
