CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Due to lightning and thunder at Irwin Bell Track in Charlotte, N.C., the 2010 NCAA Division II National Championships have been postponed until Saturday, May 29.

Ashley Potter will now compete in the women's triple jump which has been rescheduled for Saturday at 11:00 a.m. (EST). Chris Reed advances to the finals of the men's 5k after the preliminary heats were cancelled. He will run tomorrow at 9:03 p.m. (EST).

The javelin throws will also get underway Saturday. The men will begin throwing at 10:00 a.m. (EST), and the women will start at 12:15 p.m. (EST).
