MONMOUTH, Ore. - Hannah Masson scored the hat trick and Seattle Pacific continued its unbeaten season with a 6-0 win over Western Oregon on Saturday, Sept. 25.
The win kept Seattle Pacific (7-0-1) atop the GNAC standings with a 4-0-0 record and dropped Western Oregon (1-7-0) to 0-4-0 in conference play.
Masson scored the first of her three goals in the 34th minute of the match to help the Falcons grab a 4-0 lead at the half. She eventually got the hat trick after recording goals in the 80th and 81st minute for SPU's only goals of the second period.
Marina Austin had three of the Wolves' six shots in the match. WOU was outshot 13-6.
Maddie Dickinson recorded her sixth shutout of season and had four saves in the win.
The Falcons also held the edge in corner kicks, 14-3.
Western Oregon will have another split schedule next week, as it begins on the road against Montana State Billings (Sept. 30) before coming home to face Northwest Nazarene (Oct. 2).
