SALEM, Ore.
- Rachel Conard hit a game-winning, three-run homer in the bottom of the 10th to lift Corban past Western Oregon, 6-3, on Wednesday (Mar. 9).

Conrad's home run was one of five hit between the two teams. Jessica Hallmark hit her fourth home run of the season in the top of the fourth inning to put WOU in front 3-0. The Warriors then scored the next six runs thanks to four long flys.

First Stephanie Nippert and Tamara Feb hit back-to-back homers in the fourth answer the two runs by WOU in the top half of the inning. Courtney Castronovo then knotted up the game with a solo shot to lead off the bottom of the fifth.

The score remained that way until Conard's game-winning homer in the 10th.

Andrea Bailey had four hits in five at-bats to lead Western Oregon. She added a stolen base and the Wolves' first run scored of the game. Hallmark also recorded a multi-hit game for Western Oregon with a homer and a single.

Jessica Wood started the game and went the first four innings, allowing five hits and three runs while striking out six. She gave way to Alex Hillmick (3-2) who went the next 5.1 innings allowing four hits and three runs (two earned). She was saddled with the loss after giving up the homer to Conard.

Makenzie Marchbanks picked up the win for the Warriors by pitching a compete game. She gave up 10 hits and three runs while striking out nine.

The second game of the doubleheader began but was called in the middle of the first due to rain. The game will not be made up.

The Wolves' next games will be Mar. 12-13 at Bellingham, Wash., against Western Washington.
