LAS VEGAS, Nev. - Cal State San Bernardino got a late home run to break a 1-1 tie and earn a 4-2 win over the Western Oregon softball team at the Desert Stinger Classic.

Courtney Wilhelms pitched a complete game, allowing two runs and four hits while striking out three to pick up the win.

Ashlie Gardner hit a home run to lead off the seventh and bring the Wolves within two runs, but Wilhelms got the next three hitters in order to seal the game.

Alex Mitchell's two-run homer in the fifth was the big blast for the Coyotes. CSUSB also got a 3-for-3 performance from Charlotte Galzote.
