HONOLULU - Lindsay Bauman and JoEllen DeLeon each scored a goal to lead Western Oregon to a 2-0 win over Chaminade on Tuesday, Sept. 4.

Bauman led a Wolves' offensive which continued to attack the net all match. Bauman had five shots on goal to help WOU outshoot CU 17-3, including 12-2 in shots on goal. Kymberly Witmer and Marina Austin would each provide two shots on goal of their own.

WOU went on top 1-0 in the 22nd minute when Macy Bothman found an open Bauman for the score. DeLeon would extend the Wolves' lead to 2-0 on an unassisted goal in the 54th minute.

Western Oregon goal keepers made just two saves in the match as the defense kept the Vulcans out of the scoring zone all afternoon.

The Wolves will play one more match during their Hawaiin road trip. They will face BYU-Hawaii on Thursday, Sept. 6 at 7:00 p.m. (PST).
