MONMOUTH, Ore. – Fresh off a 4-0 victory in the season opener, the Western Oregon opens a seven-match road trip this week when the Wolves travel to San Francisco, Calif., for a meeting with San Francisco State on Wednesday, Sept. 11, at 4:00 p.m.

WOU enters the contest with a record of 1-0 on the season after the Wolves opened the 2013 campaign with an impressive win over Trinity Lutheran. Allison Frost led the WOU attack, scoring her first career points with two goals and an assist while Taylor Higa's goal in the 10th minute proved to be the game-winner.

Defensively, WOU limited Trinity Lutheran to just one shot on goal as Hillary Lutz and Amanda Rose Johnson combined on the shutout.

San Francisco State enters the game with a record of 1-0 after the Gators defeated Northwest Nazarene, 1-0, on Saturday. Justine Hernandez scored the golden goal in the first minute of overtime to seal the victory while Allison Land made four save in recording the shutout.

The meeting marks the sixth in the series between the two programs as the Wolves are 1-3-1 all-time against the Gators.

Following the match with SFSU, WOU will square off against Dominican on Thursday, Sept. 12, at 4:30 p.m. before a meeting with Holy Names on Saturday, Sept. 14, at 11:00 a.m.
