SAN FRANCISCO – The Western Oregon soccer team remained unbeaten on the year as the Wolves tied San Francisco State, 1-1, in a non-conference match-up on Wednesday. With the tie, WOU moves to 1-0-1 on the season while the Gators stand at 1-0-1 on the year.

Makana Pundyke found the back of the net to give the Wolves the lead. The strike was the second of the season for Pundyke as WOU held the one-goal lead.
The Gators had an answer; however, as Autumn Fox connected on a shot from 10-yards out in the 70th minute to tie the score.
Neither team could find the net the rest of the way as the contest ended in a draw after two scoreless overtime sessions.
Each team had 10 shots on the afternoon as Pundyke led the Wolves with three shots with two finding the target.
Hillary Lutz made three saves in net for WOU to record the tie.
The Wolves will continue their three-match California swing when WOU travels to San Rafael, Calif., to face Dominican at 4:30 p.m.
