ANCHORAGE, Alaska – The University of Alaska Anchorage volleyball team cruised to a three-set sweep over Western Oregon University Saturday, 25-18, 25-18, and 25-22.
 
The Seawolves (13-3, 7-1 Great Northwest Athletic Conference) won their sixth out of the last seven matches, including third straight. UAA had a .203 to .076 advantage in attack percentage. It also led in terminations, 45 to 28. Both sides committed eight service errors. WOU had an 8-4 edge in total blocks.
 
Julia Mackey led all players with 14 kills in a match that featured 11 ties and only three lead changes. She hit .440 in the match. Brooke Pottle added 10 kills and 11 digs. Morgan Hooe also finished with a double-double of 34 assists and 13 digs. Quinn Barker recorded a match-high 20 digs.
 
Alisha Bettinson led Western Oregon (2-13, 0-7 GNAC) with 12 kills and 11 digs. Jordin Ramos dished out 14 assists. Maddi Ober had four block assists.
