* Saturday will be the first of two meetings between the Clan and Western Oregon. This matchup is a non-conference game, while the Oct. 25 game in Monmouth is a GNAC counter.
* Western Oregon and Simon Fraser meet for the 29th time Saturday in Burnaby.
* The Wolves have won 18 of the all-time meetings, but are 6-7 in the series in Burnaby.
* WOU is riding a nine game win streak in the series, dating back to a 21-17 Simon Fraser in Burnaby in 2000.
* Western Oregon has never lost to SFU under Arne Ferguson, a perfect 8-0.
* WOU went 3-8 in the first 11 meetings, but is 10-1 in the last 11.
* Last Saturday, Ryan Bergman moved up in the Wolves' career Top 10 in most pass attempts, most passses completed, most yards gained, most touchdown passes, and most total yards.
