FULL GAME NOTES (PDF)MONMOUTH, Ore. – The Western Oregon University soccer team is in Hawaii this week for a trio of matchups at BYU-Hawaii, Hawaii Pacific and Chaminade on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
QUICK KICKS ...* Western Oregon has five student-athletes returning home to the islands of Hawaii.
* WOU finished last season losing only one game at home, but it opened 2014 with a home loss.
* Western Oregon outscored opponents 13-1 on the WOU Soccer Field in 2013, but gave up a goal in the first 17 minutes of the first home contest this year.
* The Wolves have won 17 of the 23 games when they scored first under Ancheta. They are also 14-3 under Ancheta when leading at halftime.
