STORYLINES- Western Oregon took its first loss on Tuesday at Division I Oregon, but looks to keep maintain its strong start in GNAC play as the schedule takes the team to Central Washington on Thursday and Northwest Nazarene on Saturday.
- The Wolves hold three-game winning streaks against both the Wildcats and the Crusaders heading into this weekend's matchups.
- WOU reached had 10 3-point makes against the Ducks, marking the third time this year the team has hit double figures in that stat category. The season-high is 14 in an 81-51 win at Notre Dame de Namur on Nov. 27.
- Western Oregon saw no change in its rankings in the two national Division II polls. The Wolves remained at No. 3 in the NABC rankings and No. 5 (with a first-place vote) in the D2SIDA Media poll.

ABOUT WESTERN OREGON- Western Oregon has forced each of their 10 opponents into more turnovers, including 18 at Oregon on Tuesday.
- A 20-5 UO spurt broke a 40-40 tie to help the Ducks hold home court, 88-60.
Alex Roth led the Wolves with 13 points on 4 of 8 shooting and a trio of 3-pointers. Â
- Five of the nine WOU victories have come by double figures. The largest margin of victory was 33 at Concordia on Dec. 1 (92-59) while the smallest margin coming in the battle of unbeaten at UC San Diego (four points, 67-63).

Andy Avgi leads the team in scoring at 21.3 points per game while shooting .603 from the floor. He scored 11 points Tuesday at UO. Â

Devon Alexander has both WOU double-doubles this season: 12 points/10 rebounds on Nov. 21 against Warner Pacific and 19 points/11 rebounds against Montana State Billings on Dec. 5.

ABOUT CENTRAL WASHINGTON- Head coach Greg Sparling is in year number 20 at CWU and is the third-winningest coach in the 103-year history of the program. He is 327-213 overall and has led the Wildcats to five league titles in his tenure.
- The Wildcats are 5-2, but dropped their opening league games at Alaska Anchorage (65-93) and Alaska (71-82). CWU does have non-league wins against Simon Fraser, Hawaii Hilo and BYU-Hawaii.
- Four players average double figures for the Wildcats, led by Joseph Stroud's 16.7 points per game. Gary Jacobs averages 16.4, Joey Roppo is at 14.1 and Devin Matthews sits at 12.7.
- As a team, CWU is shooting .487 from the field and .371from behind the arc, making an average of 8.9 three-pointers per game.

ABOUT NORTHWEST NAZARENE- Scott Flemming is in his inaugural campaign at Northwest Nazarene, but has 440 victories at Nyack College in New York.
- The Crusaders are 4-4 over their first eight games and are 0-2 in the GNAC. Recently in non-conference action, NNU defeated Dominican (CA) in overtime before losses at Cal State L.A. and San Francisco State.
- Barry University transfer Bouna N'Diaye tops the scoring list at 16.6 point per game. He is followed by Mike Wright (15.1), Detwon Rogers (14.4) and Joel Devastey (10.5).
- Northwest Nazarene is shooting .436 from the field and .35 from behind the arc, making an average of 8.8 three-pointers per game. Â
