Â
Last week, the Wolves suffered an unfortunate 2-1 lost in Billings to Montana State on Sept. 24. Despite the fact that
Allison Sprecher scored first, the Yellowjackets came back in the second half with two goals to eventually take the victory.
Â
Western Oregon then traveled to Nampa to face Northwest Nazarene on Sept. 26.
Vicky Cruz Rosales scored in the first half, but the Crusaders retaliated with a goal as well, leaving the Wolves tied at halftime. Similar events occurred in the second half as
Dani Payne scored and regained the lead. However, a late Northwest Nazarene goal in the 89th minute kept the Crusaders alive. Two overtime periods passed, yet neither team could finish it off with the match resulting in a 2-2 tie.

After two tough games, the Wolves are on the hunt for a victory against Central Washington.
