PORTLAND, Ore.—After leading the team in kills and blocks, Western Oregon's
Morgan Haskett and
Mariella Vandenkooy were named as honorable mention All-GNAC selections, the league announced on Tuesday.
Vandenkooy led the Wolves with 238 kills and was third on the team with 232 digs. Vandenkooy's kill average of 2.56 per set was ranked No. 20 in the GNAC. Vandenkooy closed out her career with 109 matches played which stands as the second most in school history. Her 865 career kills is the third most in school history during the school's NCAA DII era.
Ranked No. 13 in the GNAC by averaging 0.99 blocks per set, Haskett ended the year with a team-leading 97 total blocks while added 120 kills and 60 digs. Haskett's .252 hitting percentage was also good for No. 13 in the GNAC. For her career, Haskett has averaged 0.88 blocks per set for the No. 8 rate in school history.
