MONMOUTH, Ore.— Three early signees to the Western Oregon University women's soccer recruiting class were announced this week.
Joining the Wolves for the fall of 2019 will be Erika Gonzalez Moreno (Cornelius, Ore.), Hannah Rispler (Gresham, Ore.) and Nyah Rivera (Tacoma, Wash.).
Gonzalez and Rispler will stay in state with Gonzalez arriving from Glencoe High School and Rispler from Barlow High School. Rivera, meanwhile, hails from Stadium High School in Tacoma.
A First Team All-Pacific Conference pick, Gonzalez helped Glencoe to a 9-4-2 record this past fall with a spot in the Oregon 6A State Tournament.
Rivera was an all-league and all-state player for a Stadium High School team that advanced to the Washington 3A State Tournament in back-to-back season
Rispler is a multi-sport athlete from Barlow High School. Rispler helped guide the Bruins to a 14-2-1 overall record in 2018 with an appearance in the Oregon State 6A semifinals.
