WOU Soccer adds trio on National Signing Day

MONMOUTH, Ore.—Western Oregon University head women's soccer coach Steve Ancheta announced Thursday, Feb. 8, three student-athletes will join the Wolves' soccer program beginning in the fall of 2017.

9262Hannah Cabral, a forward/midfielder from Kailua, Hawaii; Isabelle Creighton, a forward from Auburn, Washington; and Sydney Wilson, a midfielder from Olympia, Washington, have all signed to play soccer and continue their education at Western Oregon University.

"This is just the start of the signing class in 2018, but we are very excited to be adding these three quality student-athletes to the Western Oregon soccer family. They are dynamic, versatile, competitive athletes that will be a great fit for the team and program," Ancheta said.

Club: Washington Premier
Accolades: NWAC All Star in 2017 after scoring 24 goals in 23 games in 2017… Led Tacoma CC to the NWAC Final Four.

"Isabelle is a very dynamic attacking JC all-star out of the NWAC. She has a nose for the goals and we are excited to see her come in and help us be more productive on the offensive side of the ball. We look forward to seeing her in a WOU jersey next fall," – Coach Ancheta

"We are very excited to be signing Sydney to the 2018 class. She is a quality student-athlete who we believe will be a great fit to the Western Oregon soccer program.
