INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.—Looking to repeat All-American performances from a year ago,
Olivia Woods and the men's distance medley relay will represent Western Oregon University at the 2019 NCAA DII Indoor Track & Field Championships.
The two-day meet will take place in Kansas at Pittsburg State University's Robert W. Plaster Center on March 8-9.
Western Oregon will be aiming to three-peat in the distance medley relay after championship runs in the event in 2017 and 2018. The Wolves will enter the championships as the No. 11 seed with the race taking place Friday, March 8 at 5 p.m. (CST).
Woods will be making her third straight appearance in the women's 800-meter run and holds the No. 6 time in NCAA Division II with a 2:09.35. Woods has placed sixth overall in each of the last two seasons to collect a pair of indoor All-American honors. The senior holds a lifetime indoor best of 2:09.26 and has a 2:05.91 to her credit during the outdoor season.
The first round of the women's 800 will take place Friday, March 8 at 2:40 p.m. (CST) with finals getting started at 4:25 p.m. on Saturday.
