NCAA DII TRACK & FIELD CHAMPIONSHIP: ACCEPTED FIELDS / LIVE RESULTS

INDIANAPOLIS –– After collecting All-American honors a year ago, Western Oregon's Darian Wilson and Olivia Woods will once again be booking tickets to the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships.

Posting NCAA DII provisional qualifiers earlier in the year, Wilson and Woods officially made the cut as he NCAA Division II Men's and Women's Track and Field Committee announced the complete list of participants on Tuesday.

The championships will be held May 23-25 at Texas A&M-Kingsville's Javelina Stadium. The championships will be streamed live on www.NCAA.com each day.

Woods will be entered in the 800-meter run at the outdoor championships for the third straight season. A six-time All-American over her career at Western Oregon, Woods placed eighth in the 800 at the outdoor championships last season after earning bronze in the event at the 2017 edition of the event.

Wilson earned All-American honors in the javelin as a true freshman by taking seventh place at nationals in 2018. This year, Wilson is ranked No. 17 on the DII performance list. A total of 23 competitors will make up the women's javelin field with nearly half of the participants entered as either a freshman or sophomore.

A total of 32 women and 14 men, representing eight of the GNAC's 10 track and field programs, gained invitations to the national meet. Simon Fraser led the way with nine individual selections while Alaska Anchorage had eight individual selections plus the women's 4x400-meter relay.
