WACO, Tex. – With the season opening on Sep. 2, the Western Oregon University football team is receiving votes in the first American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Division II Coaches' Poll.
The Wolves were one of 35 teams to tally at least a vote in the preseason poll, as they were joined by GNAC school Central Washington who collected 15 votes. Of the teams WOU is set to face this year, one is ranked in the top-25 (Colorado School of Mines, 10th).
