MONMOUTH, Ore. --- The Western Oregon men's soccer team looks to build off a draw as it hosts Western Washington on Thursday before traveling to take on Simon Fraser on Saturday night.

The Wolves played Western Washington on the road earlier this season, falling 2-0 on Sept. 24.

WOLVES HEADING INTO THE WEEK | 2022 STATS
Western Oregon played to a 2-2 draw Saturday against Montana State Billings - taking a 2-0 lead on goals from Enrique Gomez and Alex Grignon (assisted by Gomez) before the Yellowjackets score two goals in the final 13 minutes to pull out the draw.

The Wolves do seem to be finding rhythm on the attack as after scoring just two goals in the first seven games, they have scored five goals in the last two contests.

Grignon leads the Wolves in points (seven) and goals (three) on the season while Villalobos has two goals and leads the team with 21 shots and 10 shots on goal. Chester March leads the team in minutes played outside of keeper Juan Suarez (831) with 826 followed by Gomez (786) and Villalobos (752). Suarez owns a 2.27 GAA, 0.734 save percentage and 58 saves on 161 shots faced.

WESTERN WASHINGTON HEADING INTO THE WEEK | 2022 STATISTICS
The Vikings suffered their first loss of the season Thursday on the road at Simon Fraser, 2-1, before bouncing back Saturday for a wild 4-3 win over Saint Martin's - scoring in the 84th minute to pick up the win.

Albin Jonsson leads the team and GNAC in scoring (18 points), goals (seven) and is tied for the conference lead in assists (four) with teammates Andrew Rotter and Dakota Stamnes. WWU has five players with two goals on the season. At keeper, Patrick Restum has started and played the full 90 in 11 of the team's 12 games and owns a 1.00 GAA, a 0.761 save percentage and has 35 saves on 134 shots.

SIMON FRASER HEADING INTO THE WEEK | 2022 STATISTICS
The Red Leafs are coming off a week where they knocked off No. 20 Western Washington 2-1 to hand the Vikings their first loss of the season (gettin ga goal by Devin O'Hea in the 72nd minute) before falling on the road to Northwest Nazarene, 2-1.

O'Hea leads the team in scoring (11 poins) and goals (five) while Alan Camacho Soto has three goals and a team-high 18 shots (12 on goal). Niko Papakyriakopoulos leads the team with three assists. At keeper, Justyn Sandhu has played all 900 minutes and owns a 1.0 GAA, a 0.818 save percentage and 45 saves on 140 shots faced.

GAME 1, WIN 1 ...
The Wolves opened their program history in impressive fashion - defeating a solid Hawaii Pacific team 1-0 on Aug. 26. The first goal in program history came from freshman Alex Grignon in the 74th minute to give WOU the lead for good.

GNAC TEAM OF THE WEEK - RELEASE
The Western Oregon men's soccer team was named the GNAC Team of the Week on Aug. 29 after the Wolves won their first match in program history. The Wolves defeated Hawaii Pacific, 1-0, at WOU Soccer Field on Friday - a Sharks squad that had eight wins under its belt a season ago and return much of its starting lineup.
