As student-athletes officially sign with the Wolves, they will be added to the list and you can learn more about the newest WOU women's soccer players.

CARMEN ALWAY
Phoenix, AZ | Cicero Prep Academy | Arizona Arsenal ECNL
Alway arrives at Western from Phoenix, Arizona, where she played club soccer with Arizona Arsenal ECNL. In 2021, she earned the Arsenal Overachievement Award for the '04 girls team. She also played for Royals DA and Sereno ECNL. She was part of the Arizona Olympic Development Program as well. In school, she earned Cum Laude awards for her academic achievements.

"Carmen is a great addition to our team. She is talented, hard working, and has a great attitude. She is tenacious on both sides of the ball. She is a feisty midfielder with an amazing engine."

TAMERRA CERVANTES-CARLOS
Springfield, OR | Springfield HS | Eugene Timbers Futbol Club
Tamerra Cervantes-Carlos comes to Western Oregon from Springfield, Oregon, where she was named first team all-league for Springfield High School. This past season she led the team to a 9-6-1 record and a playoff appearance. She played club for the Eugene Timbers Futbol Club and the WPSL Azul Women's Team. She also academically is a member of the National Honors Society and holds a 3.97 GPA.
- Coach Kacey Bingham says:
"Since Tamerra is a local player, we have been able to watch her since she was a sophomore. She is one of the best players in Oregon and is so versatile and dynamic. Tamerra can play in multiple roles, but we are hoping to use her as an attacker who can playmake and score goals."

EMMA HIGASHI
Mililani, HI | Mililani HS | Hawaii Rush Soccer Club
Higashi comes to Western from Mililani, Hawaii, where she played at Mililani High School and for the Hawaii Rush Soccer Club. At Mililani High School, she had six goals and five assists and helped the team to the OIA Division 1 championship as well as a league championship.

"Emma is a standout from Hawaii. She will come and compete in our top line. She is aggressive getting to goal and knows how to finish her opportunities. We are excited to see what Emma can contribute."

EMELI RUBEL
Kapa'a, HI | Kapa'a HS
Emeli Rubel arrives at Western Oregon from Kapa'a, Hawaii, where she played varsity four years for Kapa'a High School and was named to the KIF All Star Team in 2021 and 2022. In the classroom, she holds a 3.95 GPA and has been named to the honor roll all four years.
- Coach Kacey Bingham says:
"Emeli will work herself into our midfield. She is a presence on the field and knows how to cover ground well. She will be a big body for us who can help us win and keep balls. We will ask her to be dominate in the air."
