Carlos Adds Another All-Region First Team Honor, This Time From D2CCA

MONMOUTH, Ore. – It's been a big week for Logan Carlos. After earning National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) First Team All-Region honors, she was named to the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) First Team All-Region as well. These awards come after Carlos ended the season being named a unanimous First Team All-GNAC recipient and also was named the GNAC Co-Player of the Week in the final series of the year after completing the cycle at Central Washington. In addition to those on the field accolades, Carlos earned Academic All-GNAC honors for the third straight year.

Carlos put together a big 2022 season hitting .380 with 65 hits, 37 runs, nine doubles, six triples, 10 home runs, 37 RBI, 23 walks and two stolen bases in starting all 50 games. She led the Wolves in batting average, hits, runs, triples and was tied for the team lead in walks. Carlos was second in home runs and RBI.

She tallied 20 multi-hit games with a high of four against Central Washington, tallied multiple runs scored in five games, reaching three in a game twice and drove in multiple runs in 10 games, with a high of four against Montana State Billings. Carlos ended the season with seven hits over the final three games and concluded the year with the cycle at the Wildcats completing the feat in her first four at-bats.

Carlos led the GNAC in hits (61st nationally), fifth in on-base percentage (.465), sixth in home runs per game (0.20), first in slugging percentage (.678), first in total bases (116), which was also 37th nationally, first and 18th nationally in triples, first and 36th nationally in triples per game (0.12).
