LACEY, Washington --- The Western Oregon volleyball team picked up 3-1 wins against Westminster (24-26, 25-23, 25-22, 25-21) and Western New Mexico (22-25, 25-23, 25-15, 25-18) Friday at the Saint Martin's Tournament.
In the victory over Westminster (1-5), the Wolves (4-3) were led by
Madison Hornback's 16 kills while
Sarah Crowell had 11 and
Bailee Hartsook had 10.
Ally Henry and Hartsook had 10 digs apiece while Hornback added six aces and nine digs.
Laney O'Neil had 20 assists while
Sophia Casarez added 19.
In the win over Western New Mexico (1-6),
Ella Nordquist had a team-best 13 kills while
Madison Hornback had 12 kills and 17 digs. Casarez had 22 assists and 14 digs while O'Neil had 20 assists.
Delaney Smith had a team-best seven blocks.
The Wolves conclude play at the event 1 p.m. Saturday against Colorado Christian.
