MONMOUTH, Ore. --- The Western Oregon men's soccer team returns home to host a pair of games this weekend, takin gon CSU Dominguez Hills 1:30 p.m. Friday and Stanislaus State 11 a.m. Sunday at the WOU Turf Field. The Wolves will also be hosting neutral site games with St. Martin's against those two teams as well.

WOLVES HEADING INTO THE WEEK | 2022 STATS
Western Oregon went to Salt Lake City this past week and lost to Westminster College 2-0 on Thursday and Colorado Mesa 6-1 on Saturday. Abraham Villalobos scored the goal for the Wolves on Saturday - assisted by Alex Grignon.

Grignon leads the team with three points (a goal and an assist) this season and is second on the team in shots taken with four, behind Villalobos' five shots. Chester March leads the team in minutes, having played all 270. At keeper, Juan Suarez has played 246 of the team's 270 minutes, has 21 saves and a 2.56 GAA with a 0.750 save percentage.

CSU DOMINGUEZ HILLS HEADING INTO THE WEEK | 2022 STATISTICS
The Toros moved to 4-0 for the first time since the 2010 season after home wins last week against Biola (3-1) on Wednesday and Point Loma (2-0) on Saturday.

Sulaiman Bah leads the team in scoring with 14 points in just four games - six goals and two assists. The sophomore has scored in each game for Dominguez Hills - including a pair of two-goal games to start the season. Christian Briseno and Jhoel Sarraude have two goals apiece while Chunghwan Lee has a team-high three assists and martin Velasquez has two assists to go along with a goal. In goal, Sebastian Ascencio has played all but 33 minutes for the Toros and owns a 0.55 GAA, a 0.867 save percentage and 13 saves.

STANISLAUS STATE HEADING INTO THE WEEK | 2022 STATISTICS
The Warriors are coming off of its first victory of the season Monday - a 4-0 victory over Fresno Pacific at home.

Stanislaus has had no problems scoring goals this season - putting at least two in the back of the net in each game. Alecxander Cuellar and Josh Santillan each have three goals and one assist this season while Finn Hoffmann has a goal and an assist. At keeper, Robby Rosas has played all 270 minutes and owns a 1.67 GAA, 0.444 save percentage with four saves on the year.

The Wolves opened their program history in impressive fashion - defeating a solid Hawaii Pacific team 1-0 on Aug. 26. The first goal in program history came from freshman Alex Grignon in the 74th minute to give WOU the lead for good.

GNAC TEAM OF THE WEEK - RELEASE
The Western Oregon men's soccer team was named the GNAC Team of the Week on Aug. 29 after the Wolves won their first match in program history. The Wolves defeated Hawaii Pacific, 1-0, at WOU Soccer Field on Friday - a Sharks squad that had eight wins under its belt a season ago and return much of its starting lineup.

"My staff and team are honored to be given this recognition," WOU men's soccer coach Stan Rodrigues said. "This has been a longtime coming and putting the first ever team together has had many great moments. We know the GNAC is extremely competitive and we are proud to be a part of it."
