PORTLAND, Ore. --- The Western Oregon volleyball team had nine players named to the GNAC All-Academic Team on Wednesday led by a pair of seniors with perfect GPAs.
Bella MacLellan (Exercise Science) and
Emily Olson (Interdisciplinary Studies) lead the Wolves with a 4.0 GPA. The duo is two of six volleyball players in the conference with a 4.0 GPA. WOU's
Kiana Pel (3.82 - Exercise Science) and
Sophie Matlock (3.82 - Exercise Science) also each have a GPA above 3.8 for WOU.
To qualify for academic all-conference, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.20, must be in their second season competing for their team and must have competed during the 2023 season.
