Wolves volleyball falls in three to Alaska

MONMOUTH, Ore. --- The Western Oregon volleyball team fell 3-0 (25-23, 25-22, 25-14) to Alaska on Thursday at New PE Building.

Chloe Asciutto, Bailee Hartsook, Emily Olson and Sarah Strus led the Wolves (8-6 overall, 2-4 GNAC) with seven kills each, Samantha Darby had a team-high 14 assists while Kealani Rosa had 13, Asciutto paced the team with four blocks and Sophie Matlock had a team-best 15 digs.

The Wolves return to action 7 p.m. Saturday at home against Alaska Anchorage.
