MONMOUTH, Ore. —Bella Pedrojetti drained a pair of clutch 3-pointers in overtime, leading the Western Oregon women's basketball team to a 73-65 victory over Linfield at the NPE Building Monday night.
With 3:16 left in overtime, Pedrojetti sank a 3-pointer, putting the Wolves (6-5) up 65-62. The next time down the floor, she hit a pull-up three to extend the lead to five. She finished with a season-high 26 points, shooting 5-for-10 from behind the arc.
WOU, which extended its win streak to three, got a double-double from Ana McClave and Kiylynn Dawkins, with McClave scoring 12 points, grabbing 13 rebounds and adding a team-high five assists, while Dawkins had 13 points and 12 rebounds. Cali McClave scored 15 points, grabbed five rebounds and added two steals.
The Wolves are off until Dec. 30 when they travel to take on Willamette in Salem.
