The Wolves (2-4) in the first game got a stellar start from 2022 GNAC Pitcher of the Year Arturo Alvarez as the senior went seven innings and gave up just two hits with nine strikeouts and one walk. WOU took a 2-0 lead into the ninth inning thanks toa Derek Maiben RBI single in the second and a John Oleson RBI single in the sixth, however the Mounties (1-3) scored four runs in the top of the ninth to take a 4-2 lead.

In the bottom of the ninth, WOU got an RBI fielder's choice from Derek Maiben to cut the lead to one and he eventually scored on a throwing error with two outs to give the Wolves life and tie the game.

The score remained tied 4-4 before the Wolves loaded the bases on Owen Bischoff ripped an RBI single to center to win the game.

Ryan Shipley got the win for WOU, going three innings in relief and giving up no runs on one hit with seven strikeouts (WOU struck out 19 EOU players in the game) and one walk. Derek Maiben finished 2-for-6 with a double, two RBI and a stolen base, Jacob Maiben went 2-for-4 with a double and stolen base and Oleson finished 2-for-5 with an RBI.

In the second game, EOU got on the board first in the third before WOU tied it in the fifth on a Ryan Witt sacrifice fly to score Justyn Herzog and make it 1-1. The score remained that way until the Mounties singled (only its second hit of the game), stole two bases and scored on a passed ball to take a 2-1 lead in the eighth and WOU couldn't answer.

Herzog finished 2-for-3 with a double and a run - accounting for half of the WOU hits. Bryce Bond got the start, giving up one run on one hit with five strikeouts and four walks while Judah Graham picked up the tough loss, giving up an unearned run on one hit with three strikeouts in two innings.
