PORTLAND, Ore. --- After a GNAC Indoor Track and Field Championship performance that saw her earn Field Athlete of the Meet, break a school record and help the Wolves win their first indoor conference title, Western Oregon's Jenelle Hurley was named the GNAC Field Athlete of the Week on Monday.

Hurley broke her own school record while winning the pentathlon with 3,585 points, took first in the high jump at a height of 5 feet, 5.25 inches, took second in the long jump with a distance of 17-11.75, snagged a couple points by taking seventh in the triple jump (36-10.25) and was part of the 4x400 team that took sixth. Individually Hurley was responsible for 30 points (33 including her relay race points) - helping her earn the GNAC Field Athlete of the Meet honor.
