The Western Oregon track and field team was busy at numerous events this past weekend with some strong results throughout.
The Wolves were at the Mangrum Invitational in San Marcos and here are some of the highlights:

Jenelle Hurley took second in the high jump with a height of 1.64 meters - and inch off of her PR and putting her in first place in the GNAC

Justin Conklin took third in 100 hurdles with a time of 15.05

Gabe Arce-Torres took seventh in the 400 (50.13)
-
Deshaun Stevens set a PR in the 400 hurdles with a time of 56.55 (finished seventh)

Emmett Klus took second in the 800 (1:54)
-
Caitlin Heldt took the GNAC lead in the 5,000 as she took second with a time of 17:39.

Olivia Flack finished the steeple in 11:36 - the fifth-best time in WOU history
- The men's 4x400 relay team took fourth with a time of 3:20.73 - the top time in the GNAC this season
-
Marlon Harrison set a PR in the triple jump with a distance of 13.88 meters.

Maliyah Thompson ran a 14.76 in the 100 hurdles
-
Ujunwa Nwokoma tok third in the long jump with a distance of 18-3.75 - 10th on the WOU all-time list

Emmett Klus finished first and second in their heat in the 1,500 with a time of 3:53 and 3:54 -
Keeton Sanchez also ran a 3:54 in the race.

Dayne Gordien won the discus with a mark of 49.58 (162 feet, 8 inches) - the eighth-best mark in WOU history

Liliana Lyness-Morales set a season best in the shot put (11.79 meters/38 feet, 8.25 inches) to take second

Wyatt Smith set a PR in the 1,500 with a time of 4:02 to take third
