BILLINGS, Mont. --- The Western Oregon women's basketball team fell on the road to No. 14 Montana State Billings 86-59 on Saturday afternoon at Alterowitz Gymnasium.
The Wolves (9-7 overall, 2-3 GNAC) took an early 6-3 lead to start the game after a
Hanne Hopkins steal and layup, but trailed over the final 35 minutes of the contest to the Yellowjackets (15-3, 6-0).
Three Wolves finished in double figures with
Kiylynn Dawkins leading the way with 15 points to go along with four rebounds.
Jodi Noyes had 14 points and a team-high six rebounds while
Triniti Youngblood had 12 points.
WOU returns to action 5:15 p.m. Thursday when it hosts Simon Fraser.
