Madison Hornback averaged more than four kills per set and was named the GNAC Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week on Monday.
Hornback averaged 4.25 kills (34 kills in eight sets) with a high hitting percentage of .329 in helping Western Oregon go 1-1 on the week.
Hornback in a win over Montana State Billings finished with 16 kills and just three errors on 38 attacks (.342 hitting percentage). On senior day, she had a team-high 18 kills and only four errors on 44 attacks (.318) to go along with two aces.
Hornback is in a race to 1,000 career kills - coming into her final two games with 965. She's currently fourth in the GNAC at 3.22 kills per set.
The Wolves, whose 15 wins this season are the fourth most for the program since 2000, close out their 2024 season at Northwest Nazarene on Thursday and at Central Washington on Saturday.
