NAMPA, Idaho --- The Western Oregon volleyball team fell to Northwest Nazarene 3-2 (19-25, 22-25, 25-21, 25-20, 15-13) on the road Thursday night at Johnson Sports Center.
The Wolves (15-11, 7-10) won the first two sets before the Nighthawks (8-17, 5-12) came back to win the next three- including the fifth set where WOU rallied from a 7-1 deficit to take a 13-12 lead on a
Maela Honma kill before NNU snagged the next three points to win the match.
Madison Hornback and Honma led the team with 18 kills apiece, Chloe. Asciutto and
Finley Buman each had a team-high four blocks,
Tayler Lamb led WOU with 22 digs and
Kealani Rosa had a Wolves-best 25 assists and four aces.
The Wolves close out the season Saturday at GNAC champion Central Washington.
