THE WOLVES HEADING INTO THE WEEK
The Wolves head into the week after dropping both contests at the Ron Logsdon Classic last weekend. WOU lost to Stanislaus State 94-88 Friday and Sonoma State 85-72 Saturday. Then on Tuesday the Wolves fell to Cal Poly Humboldt 87-70.
Jason Gallant leads the Wolves and is second in the GNAC in scoring at 17.4 points per game.
Carson Frincke leads WOU and is third in the conference in 3-pointers made with 15.
THE OPPONENTS HEADING INTO THE WEEK
Academy of Art head into this week after reaching triple digits in its victory over Chico State, beating the Wildcats 105-81 on Saturday in Academy of Art's only game of the week. The Urban Knights are third in the nation in field goal percentage at 54.9 - led in scoring by Isaiah Williams, averaging 18.3 points a game.

Wolves pickup first win of season against Cal State Monterey Bay (Nov. 8)
The Wolves picked up their first win of the season on a 89-88 victory over Cal State Monterey Bay at the GNAC/CCAA Crossover in Ellensburg, Wash. on Nov. 8. The Wolves were able to hold off the Otters after securing the rebound off the game-tying free throw with one second remaining. Senior
Jason Gallant picked up 30 points in the victory along with four assists and two steals while
Zach Moore had a perfect 4-for-4 night from 3-point range, picking up 12 points and seven rebounds.
Gallant named to Preseason All-GNAC team (Oct. 22)

Jason Gallant was named to the GNAC Men's Basketball Preseason All-Conference Team when the conference released the team on Oct. 22.
Gallant, a senior guard from Simi Valley, California, led the Wolves and was sixth in the conference in scoring last year at 15.5 points per game while he was second in the GNAC in assists (4.4) and minutes per game (36.3) in his first season at WOU. He scored a season-high 31 points against Alaska Fairbanks on Feb. 22, 2023.
Wolves picked ninth in GNAC Preseason Coaches Poll (Oct. 17)
The Western Oregon men's basketball team was picked to finish ninth - receiving 21 votes – when the conference released the coaches poll on Oct. 17. The Wolves finished 10th in the GNAC last year with a conference record of 2-16 and overall record of 5-21.
