MONMOUTH, Ore. --- For the second time this season the Western Oregon women's basketball eam hit the century mark as the Wolves scored the most points in a game since 2001 in a 107-48 victory over Warner Pacific on Wednesday at Wolves Athletic Center.
WOU (6-3) scored 23 or more points in each quarter - including jumping out to a 29-6 lead after the first quarter on the Knights and never looking back. The Wolves finished the game shooting 53.1 percent from the field while forcing 27 turnovers (scoring 38 points off of those turnovers).
The 107 points is the most since scoring 113 against Alaska Anchorage in 2001.
Kylani Rookstool led five Wolves in double figures with 25 points - 22 of those coming in the first half. She finished 10-for-12 shooting, including 5-for-6 from 3-point range.
Triniti Youngblood had 16 points, five steals and three rebounds,
Enid Vaifanua had 14 points, five steals, four assists and three rebounds,
Danyell Booker just missed a double-double with 10 points and eight rebounds while
Destiny Mora Lopez finished with 10 points.Â
The Wolves hit the road for a 3 p.m. Saturday match up at Cal Poly Humboldt.
