MONMOUTH, Ore. --- The Western Oregon track & field program saw several all-time Wolves top-10 marks get hit while hosting the 27-team John Knight Invite on Friday and Saturday

On the men's side,
Jack Burgett blazed his way to the No. 3Â spot in 400 history at WOU with a time of 47.90 to win the event.
Â
Grant McDowell in the 100 ran the fastest time by a Wolf in four years and the No. 7 time in WOU history with a 10.68 to win the event.
Â
Brennen Murphy put his name in the WOU top 10 at No. 10 in the 200 with a 21.71 to win the event.

McDowell, Murphy,
Amari Hendrix and Burgett combined to narrowly miss breaking the school record in the 4x100 with a time of 40.94 – just 0.04 seconds back of the record set in 1999.

In the 800,
Isaiah Rodriguez won the event with a time of 1:50.51 while
Keeton Sanchez took third at 1:51.12 – the No. 9 time in WOU history.

Easton Pomrankey won the 3,000 steeplechase (9:37.00) while
Ray Gerrard in the discus (48.16 meters) and
Mark Warren in the hammer (56.77) each took second.

On the women's side,
Nerissa Thompson moved from third to second on the WOU all-time 100 list with a time of 12.00 to win the event while moving into a tie for third in the 200 at 25.03 and taking second Saturday.

In the 3,000 steeple,
Olivia Flack – whose fifth on the WOU all-time list at 11:16.96 - took fourth with a time of 11:28.93 while
Lindie Larson entered the top 10 in Wolves history with a time of 11:32.01 to take sixth.

In the 400 hurdles,
Madeline Lambing had a season-best time of 1:03.15 to take second whileÂ
Amelia Merritt won the 800 (2:14.80).
