BELLINGHAM, Wash. --- The Western Oregon men's track and field team saw three top-10 all-time marks set while just missing a fourth while competing at a pair of meets hosted by Western Washington.

Friday at the Pee Wee Halsell Invitational,
Mark Warren set a PR and became the third Wolf in history to break the 200-foot mark in the hammer with a distance of 61.64 meters (202-3). He's now third on the all-time list and it's the best mark in the event since 2003 when Pro Escobedo set the school record with a mark of 206-4.

In the discus,
Ray Gerrard set a PR while moving up from sixth to fifth on the WOU all-time list with a distance of 51.30 meters (168-4).

Easton Pomrankey won the 3,000 steeplechase with a time of 9:27.70.

On Saturday at the Ralph Vernacchia Invitational, freshman
Jordan Vega took third in the 100 with a time of 10.68 seconds – tied for the seventh-fastest time in WOU history.

Fellow freshman
Tate Herber took third in the 110 hurdles with a time of 14.88 seconds – just .04 seconds off of making the WOU all-time top 10.

Up next for WOU is the GNAC Combined Event Championships starting Monday back in Bellingham. WOU has four athletes competing in the women's heptathlon – including the top two in the conference thus far in 2025 in
Macy Clemens (4,639 points) and
Amariyah Clay (4,619).
Amity Deters and
Olivia Boyd will also be competing with Deters ranked fifth (4,283) and Boyd ninth (3,610).

On the men's side in the decathlon,
Caleb Ness will be WOU's lone competitor as he enters the meet ranked third (5,618).
