PUEBLO, Colo. --- Western Oregon's
Mark Warren took 11th in the hammer at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Thursday, earning him Second Team All-American honors.
The back-to-back GNAC champion just missed qualifying for the finals (the top nine go on to another three throws after the first three attempts) as he went for a mark of 190 feet, 6 inches (58.06 meters) on his second throw.Â
Hillsdale's Ben Haas won the title with a distance of 217-6 (66.31 meters).
Warren was WOU's lone competitor at nationals as it concludes the season for the Wolves.
