Coach Orton says: "Jarod is from just up the street in Salem. He has a college ready frame and the ability to play multiple positions offensively as well as guard multiple positions defensively. His athleticism will allow him to transition from high school to the GNAC rather seamlessly. Once he gets over the learning curve to college basketball, Jarod will be a very good player for us. He wants to be here and is excited to be a WOU Wolf."Â
AB Gilchrist
6-0 | Junior | College Park, MD | Last School: San Jose City College
- As a sophomore at San Jose City College, Gilchrist averaged 12.3 ppg, 2.2 apg, 2.0 rpg and shot 44 percent from three ... He helped lead the Jaguars to a 23-7 overall record in 2024-25 ... Gilchrist was a Second Team Coast South All-Conference Team recipient in the 2024-25 season.
Coach Orton says: "AB is a dynamic player who has experience playing at both the point and off guard positions. He comes from a very good junior college and is accustomed to winning. His versatility on both sides of the ball is something we were looking for and are confident he will bring to our program. He can score at all three levels and his game should translate nicely into the GNAC. We are excited for what he will bring to the team."

Trevon Chambers
6-4 | Junior | Aurora, CO | Last School: Western Wyoming CC
- Chambers averaged 11.9 ppg, 2.6 rpg and  2.5 apg while shooting 34 percent from 3 and 85 percent from the line during his sophomore season at WWCC ... Chambers earned third team All-Region IX honors for his play in 2024-25.
Coach Orton says: "Tre is a versatile perimeter player. At his size, he could play three different positions offensively. His ability to score at various levels, facilitate and be a playmaker when necessary are nice assets he is bringing to Monmouth. He has a nice feel for how to play and has had really good coaching, both in high school at Cherry Creek and in junior college at Western Wyoming CC, which should translate with how we want to do things here."Â
Noah Ogoli
6-0 | Senior | Tualatin, OR | Last School: Xavier University of Louisiana
- Ogoli appeared in 24 games for the Gold Rush during the 2024-25 season ... His sophomore season he had averages of 6.0 ppg, 4.8 apg, 3.7 rpg while shooting 90 percent from the free throw line.
Coach Orton says: "Noah is flat out a winner. He won in high school, junior college and this past season at Xavier. His toughness and defensive prowess will be relied upon from the moment we take the floor in September. Noah has a special ability to be able to positively affect the game in all sorts of ways ... many of which do not necessarily show up on the stat sheet. His experience and leadership will be counted on. We are happy he decided to play his last season back home in Oregon."Â
Jadin Penigar

Coach Orton says: "Jadin has the measurables and skill set that make him a very tough cover at this level. He has the ability to create his own shot as well as knock down the three at a high percentage. He is also a good rebounder at both ends of the floor, something we think he will continue to do this year. With his familiarity of the GNAC, having played in the conference a couple of years ago, this should bode well as he can share these experiences with others on our team. We look forward to him stepping in and making an impact from day one."
