SAN FRANCISCO --- The Western Oregon volleyball team lost to No. 23 San Francisco State 3-0 (25-13, 25-19, 25-19) on Thursday at the Don Nasser Family Plaza.

Maela Honma led WOU (0-5) with eight kills to go along with three digs. Chloe Asciutto had five kills and added two aces. Samantha Darby led the Wolves with 19 assists and eight digs.

WOU returns to action Friday with a pair of games in San Francisco - taking on Fresno Pacific at noon and Menlo College at 4:30 p.m.
